Cannot start in Safe Mode
Posted by bill on December 31st, 2007

I recently posted 2 problems :

Cannot clear Recent folder ..... Fixed! usng CHKDSK /F

Cannot start in Safe Mode. ( wanted to try and fix the above problem )

I thought they may be connected but I am still unable to start in SAFE mode.
I get a screen full of Driver info and the machine just hangs. I Googled
without any real success, any offers ??

TIA
Bill

Happened to me a long time ago. I kept giving up, rebooting, etc.

Finally I just let it sit there "hanging". Don't remember how long it
took, but it FINALLY got there. Try being patient.

Set it to load safe mode when you go to bed tonight. Let it run all

Can't hurt!
