Cannote delete file from removable drive
Posted by Lamb chop on September 29th, 2005

Hi, a folder containing music has somehow got onto my removable flash drive
and I can't delete it, I get the message "cannot delete file:cannot read from
the source file or disk". I can't drag it anywhere either and it's using up
all the space. Any help is appreciated as I need to save my Thesis
somewhere!! Thank you

Two things come to mind; try deleting it from the command line, or simply
format the thumb drive.
