- Can't delete font (ttf file) w/o rebooting Windows XP.

Hello, I need to periodically update a *.ttf file from the windows\fonts
folder. When I try to delete that font, it says "access denied". I do
have admin priviledges so the problem I believe is that something is using
that file. According to the vendor of the application that uses the font,
i need to kill a certain process that uses the ttf file, but that didn't
help. I always have to reboot the computer in order to free up the ttf
file. I have to update a multitude of PCs at our site and I'm searching
for an automated way--perfereable one that doesn't require a reboot.

How do you try to delete that file? - using explorer, cmd line or cmd
script maybe?
