- Can't Install Programs

I have just all of a sudden encountered a problem when trying to install
programs. I get an error message - "_isA.tmp has encountered a problem and
needs to close", the letter 'A' changes to a different figure each time I
try. Can anyone help?

What is the virus/malware status of the computer? Make sure it is clean:
