Can't open data source - Tech Support

Can't open data source: Posted by Adrian on September 24th, 2005; Hi,
I have created an Excel Spreadsheet as a data source. When I create a new
document in Word, and open the data source that I just created, then select
the sheet, normally it should work, but this time it pops up another window
ask to select a table, however, there's nothing to select. If I press ok,
there's just an error message saying unable to open data source, why?

This would be an ideal question for an MS Word newsgroup.
It has nothing to do with WinXP.
