- The certificate was explicity revoked by its issuer

when I tried torun software install pack, I got alert 'This publisher has
been blocked from running software on your machine'. I checked Digital
certificate, it show "The certificate was explicity revoked by its issuer".
I checked the certificate - it expired. No vurus detected. Is this safe to
install application with revoked certificate? One possible reason that
issuer(Verisign) revoked certificate is that certificate expired,
company(signer) just dont wanted to prolong it since it obsoletd program
version. Am I correct?

What software install pack? Or should one otherwise presume that the
revocation was certainly for good cause?
