Compaq Connections
Posted by edgarperrito on November 12th, 2005

Hello everyone:

I have a Compaq Presario SR1110NX
I had a software named Compaq Connections but when I launched it,
it says the following message, and it also appears at startup(when I get to
the Windows XP desktop)

Runner Error
Invalid BackWeb application id "1940576"
Does anyone has a solution before I start Compaq System Recovery?

Any replies would be great and thank you!

You don't need Compaq Connections and certainly you wouldn't restore the
system for this! The error message you are getting is because there is
a problem with Compaq's BackWeb application. Contact Compaq tech
support if this is important to you for uninstallation/reinstallation
instructions.
