computer reboots itself out of standby
Posted by Lauri on October 29th, 2005

I have just begun having a problem w/standby. When I put my computer into
standby it DOES go there. However, within 2-6 seconds, it turns itself back
on. Any ideas? I have done all the virus scans, adaware scans, spyware scans
etc. I can get my hands on. Nothing helps. Just started yesterday. Let me
know any fixes you may know of! Thanks.

Look at you mouse power settings, your keyboard power settings, your network
adapter power settings in device manager. Then enter the bios and look at
the various "power on" settings available there. Turn them all off.
