- Connecting to pc

I need to connect to an XP SP2 machine. When I try using \\pcname or ip
address I get prompted for password. I cannot change the user it's dimmed
out under pcname\guest. I do not know the guest password. I thought that
account was disabled as this pc is a memeber of a domain. Thanks for your
help.

Connection requires that the user name and password be supplied. Suggest
contacting the owner/administrator of the machine for assistance.
