- Content of Network connections lost post October updates

Help! My WIN XP Pro laptop lost content of network connections after updated
six applicable October windows update and restrted laptop. Missing all lan,
vpn connections.
No hardware conflicts. Network Connections services running, set for manual
start.

windows updates, MS05-51 (KB902400) causes this issue.
