- Create a new disk

Hello i need know how i can create one new disk, i have only the cd for xp,
and the new disk is empty.
Do i need format with syste, i cant format one diskette wit system, to start
the new disk ansd make one transfer sys.

If you want to install XP to a new HDD, boot from the installation
media [XP CD] setup will commence automatically.
You can choose to create a primary partition for XP, no less than
6GB is best - 10 preferably, or use the complete HDD as C:.
If I have misunderstood your question, repost with a better
description of what you want to achieve.

If you can't boot from the CD (and it is a relatively new machine
(last couple of years)) you may need to go into the BIOS and
enable the boot from CD option. How to get into your BIOS
will be somewhere in the info you got with the computer or
you can go to the motherboards site and find the info there.
