Hello,

How can I create a shortcut for Map Network Drive? I would like to have an
icon for this in the quick launch bar.

Thanks!

S.

If the map drives are at the root K: then right click the desktop go down to
new then left click shortcut, type in K: and click next name it, then drag it
to the quick launch bar. DONE. You may have to type in the entire path to
your files.

Thanks but that's not what I mean, sorry.

From XP Pro if you right click My Computer or My Network Places and Select
Map Network Drive... a Map Netwotk Drive window will open. It's a shortcut
to that window I wish to make.

Thanks!

Got it!

Doug Knox told me over at xp.customize to create an icon using this as the
command line:

RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,SHHelpShortcuts_RunDLL Connect

Works great!

Thanks!
