Scan your system with latest virus definitioned
antivirus,adaware,spybot,search and destroy,CWShredder.Run all the
latest versions of these tools in safe mode.

I see the current programs running but no tabs across the top to look at
active tasks, and no shut down options--I must have changed a setting
somewhere unknowingly but can't seem to figure this out--thanks for your help
