Default setting of my location

when i type google the site that opens is google.de. i think somehow my
default setting has been changed to Germany. I am in Pakistan and want
google.com to open. Similarly when i try and search for somehting on Yahoo it
gets results from Germany. Any idea on how i can change this? Thanks.

Hi Andy,

In the Control Panel/Regional and Language options, check the default
location.

In IE, the language is under Internet Options > General [tab] >
Languages [button].

If you have the Google toolbar, there are options to set your language
preferences, but they tend to be "un-sticky" with IP address overriding
at some point.

this did not work. in control pannel language is english. i think the
settings of my isp are such that now the default conuntry someohow has been
set to germany. any way i can check that
