- Deleting download updates from Windows Update
- Posted by Wayne on November 14th, 2005
How can I delete a set of updates that I downloaded, but have not installed
yet? I changed my miond on installing them and want to get rid of the message
saying that I have updates to install. I still want to keep windows update
icon active. Thanks!

Hi,
Disable automatic updates (system applet in the control panel), delete the
contents of \WUTemp (usually on the root of the drive with the most
available space). Reboot, then restart autoupdates.
