Deleting Files in Temp Folder
Posted by Helen Arnoldus on October 16th, 2005

I just updated Adobe Acrobat to ver. 7.04 and Flash Player to ver. 8 and now
find strange files in my Temp folder: "FlashPlayerUpdate.exe" and
"d7074d.msp" (Adobe). I also have quite a few .log and .txt files. Are these
OK to delete?

You can delete anything in temp after a reboot. If a file won't delete because it is in use, just skip it.

If you've gone through at least one reboot since they were created,
then yes.
