- Deleting user desktop question
- Posted by Sue on January 16th, 2006
On my home computer I have three user profiles. My husband and me are
administrators and my son and daughter have their own profile. On my
daughters desktop is a folder that is undeletable (and also nameless). I
have a program called "delinvfile" (here is a link to delinvfile:
http://www.purgeie.com/delinv/index.htm) that is able to delete an
undeletable file or folder. My question is this, can I select my daughter's
"desktop" (by following the path: C://documents and settings/daughter/desktop
- select desktop and delete it safely? Will the desktop be rebuilt for her?
Thank you,
Sue
