My background image (e.g. bliss, tulips, etc) won't strecht correctly
when I choose not to show my desktop icons. All the other graphics are
OK. and my screen resolution continues to be 1024x768. the only
problem appears to be with my desktop background image. If I choose to
show my desktop icons, the image streches correctly. I have a toshiba
sattelite, with windows home edition SP2, 1.5Ghz and 256 RAM. The
problem started when I wanted to use a personal image as my background,
after that everything got screwed up. A funny thing is that when I use
the mouse wheel, the desktop image scrolls up and down. I recently
added a DSL connection, and I'm not sure if that had anything to do
with it, because things got screwed up about the same time. I've done
multiple google searches on the topic and have found no other occurence
of this problem.
