- Desktop BlOCKING laptop workgroup connection
- Posted by thunderstruck_302 on March 9th, 2006
The following message appears when I select to connect to my Desktop computer
through the "View Workgroup" page in My Network Places:
\\mike-and-kim1 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions.
Access is denied.
I am connected with a Wireless G router from linksys. I am connected by wire
from my router to the desktop, and wirelessly from the router to the laptop.
