- Desktop not appearing on move or copy dialog box
- Posted by CG on May 15th, 2006
I am using Windows XP Home Edition. When I try to copy or move a file to the
desktop, the desktop no longer appears as an option on the move items or copy
items dialog boxes. Instead the first branch on the tree is My Documents.
Then the other usual branches are listed. I have to move to that one. Then
open up Windows Explorer and drag to Desktop. This has just recently started.
This is a rather convoluted way of doing things. Please help.
