- Desktop Pic in Memory only?

Hello all. Strange one here. I deleted the pics I was using for my desktop.
However, the background pic still shows. When I go in to Desktop Properties,
and look for the picture, the screen turns blue. As long as I do not go in
to Properties, the pic stays on the desktop background. Question: is there
anyway to get this pic out of memory and save it? I like the pic, but it's
gone otherwise/
