Hi everyone, i am seeking some help with a problem i have with my video card
/ monitor combination.

Specs:
monitor: NEC MultiSync FP1355 22" CRT
Video Card: ATI Radeon 9700 PRO

Now both the above are capable of resulution at and beyond 1600 x 1200.

The problem i am having is that when i increase the resolution beyond 1280 x
1024 my idesktop extends beyond the boundary of my monitor and i have to
scroll the desktop to view all parts of it i.e. the desktop extends the
viewable area.

How can i get the whole desktop showing within the viewable area?

Any help most appreciated.

i installed the latest driver for my ati card. all works great now
