- Details in Windows Explorer directory listings
- Posted by Ron U. on December 1st, 2005
I find myself clicking on 'details' in the Windows Explorer directory
listings all day long. How can I get 'details' as my default instead of the
icons?

First, set up Windows Explorer the way you want the files
displayed.
Next, on the toolbar at the top of Windows Explorer click on
Tools.
Select "Folder Options" from the menu.
Hit the "Apply to all folders" button.
Click OK.
