- Posted by songleilei@gmail.com on January 29th, 2006
Recently, I have got this problem: Device manger is empty. It can be
opened either from the commend line or from My computer -- Manage. So
how can I get all the device contents to be displayed by Device
Manager?
Thanks in advnace.

Perhaps see if the plug and play service is running.
Start/run type in services.msc and click ok.
Find plug and play in the list see if its running. If not, try to start it.

As Ramesh said in answer to your first post, this is probably caused by
the Apropos malware.
