Dialog boxes, I Can't See Everything, different programs. I had alot of
fonts and was slow to load, so I removed them all and then just put the
basics back in (I'm not sure if this was the start of my problems, but the
timing was about the same). I also hooked up to a second monitor (screen
projector). I attempted many, many solutions; reinstalling all the fonts,
messing with the display, restore again &again, searching & tweaking the
registry, etc. Finally, I went into Display Properties/ Settings/ Advanced
and changed the DPI setting from 96 dpi to 120, and rebooted. Then did it
again changing from 120 dpi to 96, and rebooted. And TaDa, GeeWhiz, Duh!,
crap... Finally! it was all back to normal. Through all the searching I
never found the correct solution so I figured I'd post this. Good Luck.
