Windows XP Tablet Edition is designed to be installed
on a "Tablet PC". Both Windows XP Home Edition and
Windows XP Professional are designed to be installed
on a conventional Desktop or Notebook PC.

So just what are you going to install it on? If a tablet PC, well, that
pretty much dictates which version you install.

A little bit of reading at Microsoft's web site for Windows
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp) and you'll discover the article that
mentions the differences between the Pro and Home versions.

Tablet PC edition is a superset of Windows XP Pro that provides the
necessary hardware driver support plus ink/pen-aware utilities and
handwriting recognizers. It comes preinstalled on ALL computers which
fit the hardware requirement. See www.tabletpc.com
