DirectX - Missing Files
Posted by steve on October 19th, 2005

Running the DirectX Diagnostic Tool I get the following note on the
DirectXFiles Tab.
"Several files
(microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.dll,MS.DirectX.DirectD raw.dll.MS.DirectXInput.dll,etc) are missing! You should reinstall DirectX to get latest version."
I have reinstalled DirectX 9c and I continue to get this note.
Please help-how do I get rid of it and could it possibly account for my
Windows Media Player often encountering a network error?
Tks

Steve, go here and download and install DirectX Eradicator. Remove
DirectX. Restart and reinstall it.

Tks Rich, tried it. Still saddled with the missing files.
Anything else you can suggest would be appreciated.
