Disc cleanup / compress files
Posted by miles kirkwood on March 28th, 2006

I run disc cleanup on a regular basis, and have routinely compressed files
infrequently used. I have just found that some infrequently used folders
have disappeared (arrgh).
Is there any way I can recover them / are they stored somewhere? I now need
them rather desperately.

If it has anything to do with diskcleanup then they are exactly where you left them. That is DC has nothing to do with disappearing folders.
