- Disk Cleanup fixes aren't working
- Posted by sandy on October 18th, 2005
After a power failure, IE wouldn't open. It is ok now, I think, but 2
problems remain. Disk cleanup won't open, and when I try to delete my
temporary internet files, it starts but freezes. I emptied the files with
start/run/%temp%/delete. A few files remained, & disk cleanup % delete
temporary internet files still don't work. I tried Kelly's corner 84 L: clean
mgr & 48 R: disk cleanup, all to no avail. I tried run/cleanmgr/SAGESET- that
won't open at all. I just rechecked start/run/%temp%; the folder now appears
empty. Does anyone know how I can get diskcleanup to open & also to get IE
internet options/delete temporary internet files to work again? Thank you.
