- Disk Defrag
- Posted by Uncle John on February 26th, 2006
Raxco's Perfect Disk has been my preferred defrag tool for a long time and
currently have version 7 and a valid subscription for support. However since
about June last year I do not get any news from Raxco and the update
checker is negative.
Has any one up to date news of this company and the product?

Why don't you ask them, type Raxco in a search text input box and then
click the link to go to their site.

What does a visit to their web site tell you?

I didn't see anything in a Google search and their website looks up-to-date.
Have you tried to contact them about your concerns?

I have not got any answers from their site which is why I posted here.
Thanks Gerry for the press release site link to Raxco. This item last year
23-Aug-05 Raxco Software's PerfectDisk® Live Subscription Software
Utility Gains Legions of New Users in First Month.
makes me wonder if Raxco have been so heavily involved in their PerfectDisk
Live that they have not much time for their old stand alone application
customers
See Mark 5:9 for "Their name is legion" and look what happened to Norton
after is was swallowed by Symantec

Raxco Software is alive and well, as is PerfectDisk (along with
PerfectDisk Live). Look for something major with PerfectDisk soon...

May be so!
As the poet said
"Eheu fugaces, Raxco,
labuntur anni, nec pietas moram
rugis et instanti senectae
adferet indomitaeque morti"

Try Fitzgerald (Rubaiyat) for similar sentiment more accessible to all.
