- Display properties in the "My Pictures" folder(s)
- Posted by Erik T on October 1st, 2005
How can I display the folder titles in both the main and sub folders in the
my pictures area of XP? Somehow this property has been changed, perhaps by my
kids, but I have not had any luck in finding where I can manipulate or toggle
this information to be displayed. For example, I want to have "Dec 2004"
displayed under the folder named "Dec 2004".
Thank you for your time

Using Windows Explorer, top toolbar, click View and click either
Thumbnails or icons, whichever you prefer. Then click Tools>
Folder Options>View>click Apply to all Folders>Apply>OK

You might want to try the following:
Click on the View button.
While holding down the Shift key, change the View from
Thumbnails to List.
Keep holding down the Shift key and change the view back to
Thumbnails.
The folder names should now be displayed.
