- DNS becomes corrupt regularly
- Posted by NewsGr on January 8th, 2006
I have 1 xp pro sp2 user in my win2203 AD who needs to flush and reregister
his DNS on a daily basis. Rebooting does not solve the issue. He is a
heavy MSDN programmer and loads a lot of beta software. I suspect it has
something to do with that, however nothing abnormal in his event log and
anti virus and anti spyware are running. Any ideas as I am running low..

What's his ipconfig look like? Also, is he "playing" with the host file?

I dont think he is playing with host file. Ipconfig is strange, I ran it
once when he was having problems and it returned a class a (forget
exactly)10.0.0.x dns server. our lan is a 192.168.1.x. flushing and
reregistering takes it back to the correct DNS.
