- DNSRegisteredAdapters got deleted

We ran some 3rd party script on our computers and it deleted the
following Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters
\DNSRegisteredAdapters
Now our windows XP machine don't register with DNS anymore.
Is there a way to recreate this key on the affected computers?

How about using system restore to a time just before the script ran? Then
export the key before you run the script again so you can import it
afterwards.

Thanks. But system restore is not an option for us, as there are just
too many computers, and we really don't know when the script was
actually ran on the computers. :-(
