- domain password change problem
- Posted by edongski on November 30th, 2005
Hi,
I am experiencing a password change while in domain environment. I always
get the message "The system cannot change your password now because the
domain DOMAIN1 is not available". I also encounter this with Windows 2k
desktop.
But when i tried it on our Windows NT workstation and server i was able to
change the domain password without any problems. We are still using PDC and
BDC technology for our domain accouts.

Hi S,Sengupta,
I have visited before the link. I have performed the activity on first item
>>http://support.microsoft.com/?id=837327 and still experiencing the same
problem
And for the second, i could not find the specific hotfix as i have visited
the page http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx and could not find any
hotfix for WindowsXP SP2 and for all my windows 2k, i have all the service
packs updated.
