I have been using Vista since July 2005. Why would I change now?

As does every OS with its preceding OS. Get a real job.

The same was said of XP when it first came out. Big deal.

That's a gratuitous comment about Windows Vista that has nothing to do
with Windows XP, the topic of this newsgroup, whether or not you are
correct. You are clearly trolling, looking to start an argument rather
than providing any useful help to people here.
Just as any other troll, you should be ignored. I have no interest in
arguing with you.

Oh, wow, aren't you the super-informative wannabe tech. Children
really shouldn't be in Usenet.

I don't remember users uninstalling XP and going back to Win9x, do you?

Since you intentionally have it backward, that would make you a troll.

Yes, but it was not always possible. If the file system had been converted
to NTFS rollback was not possible and there were a couple of other
conditions that could prevent rollback. But that was the last rollback
scenario supported by Windows that I can remember. Rollbacks from XP to
Win98 were not common but they did happen. There is a knowledgebase article
on how to rollback from Vista to XP manually but it is not for novices.

Probably. Most of the people I dealt with once they decided on it,
there wasn't any going back. Mostly networks. But I don't remember
hearing it like I hear about so many Vista users going back to XP.
