- Drag and Drop broken

I cannot drag and drop anything from my desktop to another spot on my
desktop and for that matter drag anything in Illustrator or photoshop.
Also, the search option doesnt work in my start menu and i cannot click
hypertext links with _blank.The new window just wont open. I have tried
typing "REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL" to the run option in the start menu,
but still nothing.
Any suggestions? This is driving me mad.

Thank you...you rawk! It works. Could this have happened via virus? I
had to update my installation server too. Windows sucks sometimes.

No. This has fixed broken drag n drop for over 10 years. Nothing to do with viruses.
