I have a computer with 2 hard drives. one is a slave and one is a master. How
do I import my contact list from microsoft outlook on the slave drive which
was running under windows ME to outlook express which is running under
windows XP

Export the OL contacts as a CSV file. Import the CSV file via Address Book:
File > Import > Other address book.

You ask in a group that has OUTLOOK in the title. Notice this group
lacks that word.
