Is the Genesis Logic USB Scanner connected to the computer or is this
hardware you have removed?

Your model number does not quite match. Are you in the USA as your time
zone suggests?

Try updating drivers here:

morning gerry. i am not in usa. i am midway between bolton and wigan in
lancashire.the model numbers are correct as per the manuals for each. i have
a feeling it could be the epson because i have tried to uninstall it and it
will not completely uninstall. the epson folder is still on the hd and 5 sub
folders in epson will not delete, move, rename or any of that, even though
are completely empty. i forgot to add that both printers are working
normally. its just the event error that puzzles metia. alan

You should you Add / Remove programs in Control Panel to remove
software. Sometimes that leaves start-up items, which can be identied
and safely using Autoruns. Deleting programs are not the way you should
remove redundant software.

The link for the HP UK site is below:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Looku...x=9&submit.y=3

You need to be more precise about your HP model.

F2100 'series' but the actual model is F2180. i have updated from your link
and all seems to be fine. i really appreciate your patience. i hope you are
enjoying better weather than us. all the best to you and yours. alan
