I cannot read the MSWorks Spreadsheet I completed on another computer using
MS Excel. Why?

You should ask in an Excel or MSWorks newsgroup. This one is for the XP

Open the file with Works and Save As an .xls extension. Works normally
saves as .xlr

Works | File | Save As | Save as type | Click the V to see the list |
Select Excel 97 - 2000 (*.xls)

Open Microsoft Works files in Excel
