I've had a similar XP problem, as yet unresolved, so am interested in any
responses to this.
My problem:
16-bit Setup.exe files do not appear to run when logged in as a domain
user/administrator. If I open task manager, I can see the setup.exe in the
list. The setup program does not appear on the screen. UNTIL I log out, at
which point it breifly pops up, before the logout process kills it.
If I login as a local administrator, the 16-bit setup application runs OK.
This might be a workaround for your problem until someone suggests a fix.
Chris.
