- Explorer Font Size
- Posted by Liz on May 23rd, 2006
Hi,
The font size in my Explorer window on some sites, for instance this one(!),
is so small that I can“t read it. Is there a way to change this?
Thanks,
Liz.

I assume you mean Internet Explorer as opposed to Windows Explorer? If so
then go to Tools>Text size (drop down menu at the top). Change it to the
next size larger and see what happens.

If only all of the problems in life were that easy to solve!
I'm glad it worked for you.

First, note that although *you* may be reading this newsgroup on a web site,
it is really a newsgroup and basically not a web site at all. Using the web
interface to read this newsgroup is the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone
method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as
Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See

One of the easiest ways to change the text size is to hold down the CTRL key
and scroll the wheel on your mouse. One direction makes it bigger, the other
smaller.Note that this is a Windows standard, and works in most
applications, not just IE.
