External VGA On Notebook Not Working In WinXP SP2 now!
It worked before the last time I tryed about a month ago. It works when
booting
up notebook or in bios setup! But soon as windows splash
screen appears it reverts back to notbook screen and can
not be switch with fn-f4 keys!
Anybody?

Nothing there for external vga output

Under the "settings" tab, you should be able to extend your desktop onto a
2nd monitor. Use that but be sure you have the second monitor in the window
on that tab highlighted first and that you are already all connected.

This helped to enable vga out to my external monitor
but the fn-f4 key does not work as before.
I'll try to restore to a past restore point
to see if I can pin point what caused this!
The only things that were upgraded were
WinXP, McAfee VirusScan and Ad-Aware
