File Or Directory Corrupted and Unreadable Error. Help?
Posted by geezer on December 19th, 2005

I have a directory that shows in explorer as having 0 bytes, but I
can't remove it or look in it. When I do, I get this error:

The directory is not accessible.
File Or Directory Corrupted and Unreadable.

What can I do?

Thanks

Geezer

- Click Start / run
- Type diskmgmt.msc
- Right-click the problem disk, click Properties, then Tools, then Check
Disk.

Okay - it is an external (USB) disk, so I hope Checkdisk works.
