- Folder access denied
- Posted by LawrenceLR on December 8th, 2005
I placed my hard drive into an external enclosure, after my motherboard died
on me. I am able to access almost everything from the hardrive once attached
to my laptop. But I had created a folder within My Documents where I was
keeping digital photos. When I try to open it I am told "access denied".
The folder appears under Documents & Settings/Owner. Other folders therein,
such as My Music, are accessible though.
I thought this might be due to user permission, but I cannot find any
settings that allow me to access the folder. Any ideas?
Thanks
