- Folders created in Windows Explorer not visible, but visible in my computer
- Posted by evmla@hotmail.com on March 17th, 2006
Using Windows Xp SP2 We have a user creating folders in Windows
Explorer - everything seems to be ok, but when created they are not
visible. Starting My computer and going to the folder where the folders
are created - and there they are visible! How come? is it a bugg or is
it something needed to be changed on the client?

if u read the question carefully, u havent mentioned the complete
details, in the last part u said CLIENT, what client are u talking
about ? Normally we create folders by right click > New > Folder and it
shud be visible everywhere. If one user creates a folder and u put some
-ve NTFS permissons then other users can still see the folder but they
cant access it, they will get the error "Access Denied". May be the
folder that u created was with HIDDEN attribute on, try changing that,
is this computer on network ?
