When I sign in to this newsgroup foum I check the "remember my user name and
password". However, when I need to post a question or to respond to an answer
the following day, I always have to sign back in again. When I go back to the
sign in area I see that the tick has been removed down to "always remember my
name" only. I also always get a "you have been signed out of .net messenger
service because you have signed in at another address when I start my
computer in the mornings. What is causing this? Thanks.

The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the awful
web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest,
most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a
newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See
