Hard Disk Change

I have windows XP installed on my old harddrive marked C:, I got a new hard
drive and installed windows xp to it because i want to use it as my main
drive. If I boot to the new drive i get a disk boot failure message. The
new drive is the master. I want to make the new drive C:\ and I want to boot
from the new drive without an error what do I do?

Hi,

Remove the old drive from the system, then boot with the WinXP CD and load
the Recovery Console. From the prompt, run fixboot.

HOW TO: Install and Use the Recovery Console in Windows XP [Q307654]
