During install of sp3 after about 1/2 hour of install received message saying
access denied. The system then procedded to remove files which never seemed
to complete. Then received a message saying system may not work and system
proceeded to reboot. Booting failed. Opened system is safe mode twice and
tried restoring to the last two set points. Each system restore took about 30
min and system is still dead and will not move beyond black scrren with xp
logo. Is there any hope of recovery short of a system recovery?
