How to backup records

I own 12 old, 1980 yr. music records and I would like to copy them to a computer file .
How can I do that?

Roxio 7.5 should be able to do this for you. Version 8.0 is also out
but haven't bought it yet. Lack of funds for the time being!

Even if 1989, don't see 12 year old in this. Maybe that's when you took
possession of these records, 12 years ago?

The quality of old analog LPs to wave format leaves much to be desired in
sound quality. Some use a program called soundforge to clean up the hiss
and other white noise. Not worth buying if just a few of LPs. Would be
more prudent to buy these already digitally mastered.
