- How to join 2 (or more) bootable ISO images onto 1 bootable CD or DVD ?
- Posted by Tom Parson on October 4th, 2005
Assume I have 2 (or more) bootable ISO images of CDs. I want to put them onto ONE CD.
At boot time a menu should popup and let me decide which of the two sub-boot CDs I want to boot at the end.
In other words: I am searching for a meta boot menu system which should be installed on a bootable
CD and which is called before any of the other sub (bootable) systems.
Does such a meta-boot system exist which assembles all the joined parts in a convenient way??

An ISO image is an exact copy of the original CD. You would need to work
with the ISO image directly in order to "merge" the two images together.
This might not be easy to do but look at Isobuster.

grub, a boot manager distributed with Linux can do this.

Hi Tom
Do a google search for Bootable CD Wizard v1.50z
I use it to mount floppy images and ISO images on a single bootable CD

When replying, please respond to the original link and don't start a
new one. Now you have started a second thread on the same subject,
which the original poster probably won't look at, and will contain
different posts.....it's just a bad deal that is so easily avoided if
you rub your two brain cells together.

Try Partition Magic. You can download and purchase it, or download it free
from several NG's.
